I am currently working on a series of works that respond to my return to live in Australia. Based on the famous “Omi Hakkei”, or “Eight Beautiful views of Lake Biwa”, a series made famous by Hiroshige, they are at once beautiful, imaginary, and emotionally charged landscapes dealing with the changes I see on returning to my homeland.
