Evening Bell Blampeid

This work, Evening Bell at Blampeid relates to Evening Bell at Miidera in Hiroshige's series. The evening sky relaxes into calm colours as a sound drifts across the air and ripples the dam water. Did it come from the distant church?

This is the 5th work in the series and relates to the landscape I often saw while driving North from Ballarat. Actually Blampeid doesn't look like this much at all, but I like the name.
